SanSara’s Four-Hands Dinner Brings Royal Awadhi Heritage to the Table

SanSara Singapore full spread

The SanSara four-hands dinner is coming to Singapore this September for five nights only, 9 to 13 September 2026. The Robertson Quay restaurant pairs its own Master Chef Pannalal Nath with celebrated Guest Chef Mujeeb ur Rehman for The North Table.

Two cooks who work to preserve Awadhi cuisine, sitting down together to figure out what happens when their individual styles meet on a single plate.

What to Eat at The North Table

Diners choose between a four-course menu ($68++) and a six-course menu ($98++), with beverage pairings available for an additional $30. Both are offered in vegetarian and non-vegetarian formats, and there is also an à la carte selection for those who prefer to graze.

On the non-vegetarian side, the standouts are the Shahi Galawati Kebab and the Bharwan Calamari, stuffed with prawn and crab mousse. The centrepiece is the Kashmiri Morel Pulao with Saffron Butter Lobster Kurchan, finished with roasted nuts and fresh herbs.

Vegetarian diners are equally well served. The Chowk Ke Tikki and Rajma Ki Galouti read like dishes with a story behind every spice choice, and the Kashmiri Morel Pulao with Saffron Paneer Rogan Josh mirrors the lobster version in ambition if not in protein.

The meal closes with Sheer Khurma, a saffron-infused dessert.

The à la carte menu includes Bhune Tamater Jao Ka Shorba, a comforting starter. There’s also Murgh Tikka Mirza Hasnu, a slow-braised chicken drumstick served in North Indian consomme.

Five Nights on the Robertson Quay Riverfront

SanSara sits along the Robertson Quay waterfront at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. The name comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “to flow”, which feels apt for a restaurant that has built its reputation on the idea that Indian cuisine is a living tradition, not a fixed archive.

Chef Rehman put it plainly: “The result feels familiar to us as chefs, but hopefully surprising to the diner.” That combination is exactly what the best North Indian cooking delivers. Five nights is not very long. Book before it fills.
