Chye Seng Huat Hardware and Connor’s Stout Porter have teamed up for a limited-time collaboration running from 27 August to 1 November 2026.
Rather than simply putting a pint next to a plate, Head Chef Christina Ee has built stout directly into three dishes. Diners will find Connor’s caramel, roasted, and lightly bitter flavour profile woven thoughtfully into selected menu items.
Connor’s is brewed with brown malt, caramel malt, lager malt and roasted barley, making the beer perfect for bakes.
The Three Dishes to Order
First, the Stout Stack ($30++) layers wagyu beef with onions slow-caramelised in Connor’s Stout Porter, a sunny-side-up egg, fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, and fries. In fact, chefs specifically prepare the stout-infused onions to draw out the caramel malt character of Connor’s.
Next, the Connor’s Grill ($12++) pairs smoky grilled chicken with a creamy, stout-infused mayo. Here, the stout’s gentle bitterness cuts through the sauce’s richness instead of overpowering it.
Finally, the Connor’s Affogato ($9.20++) brings together fresh espresso, vanilla ice cream, and Connor’s Stout Porter in a glass. As a result, the caramel and chocolate notes in both the stout and Chye Seng Huat Hardware’s house coffee blend pair seamlessly with the vanilla ice cream.
What Else Is On
From Monday to Friday from 6 pm, every main purchased comes with a complimentary half pint (250ml) of Connor’s. Happy hour runs daily from 6 pm to 9 pm, with a full pint at $10++ (usual price $15++).
Beyond the food, there is a Connor’s gachapon machine (buy two full pints on one receipt for a guaranteed spin), a photo booth with complimentary photo strips, and a weekly Instagram giveaway. Merchandise such as T-shirts, tote bags, mugs, and collectable pins is also available while stocks last.
This runs until 1 November 2026. The affogato alone is worth the visit.
