Discover Edge at Pan Pacific and its ‘Flavours of the Lion City’ buffet! This month-long culinary journey takes you through Singapore’s diverse food culture. Indulge in local delicacies and innovative twists on classic dishes as Pan Pacific Singapore celebrates the nation’s 59th birthday in delicious style.
Edge at Pan Pacific is rolling out the red carpet for your taste buds with their “Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore” buffet.
Imagine strolling through a gastronomic wonderland, where the aromas of peppery Bak Kut Teh mingle with the sweet scent of deep-fried durian. That’s exactly what awaits you at Edge from 9 July to 9 Aug. Executive Chef Andy Oh and his culinary wizards have conjured up a feast that’ll take you through Singapore’s cultural tapestry.
The food at the Edge
Let’s talk about the stars of this show, shall we? Imagine diving into a steaming bowl of Singapore Laksa, but wait – there’s a twist! This isn’t your everyday laksa; it’s crowned with succulent baby lobster. And for those who crave a little nostalgia, the Bak Chor Mee will transport you straight to the hawker centres of your childhood.
But hold onto your chopsticks, because we’re just getting started. The buffet is a treasure trove of local delights that’ll make any Singaporean’s heart swell with pride. From Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly nestled in pillowy lotus buns to Teochew Steamed Golden Pomfret that practically melts in your mouth, every dish tells a story of Singapore’s diverse heritage.
The desserts at the Edge
Now, let’s sweet-talk about desserts for a moment. If you’ve ever wondered what a Milo Dinosaur Panna Cotta would taste like, wonder no more! And for those brave souls who can’t resist the king of fruits, the Deep-fried Durian Ball is calling your name. But the pièce de résistance? The National Day signature Chempedak Cake – it’s a slice of patriotic indulgence you won’t want to miss.
The drinks at the Edge
Feeling parched after all that feasting? Mosey on over to the Old School Pop-up Drinks Stall. Here, you can cool down with some Teh Tarik. Not a fan of tea? Get a little fancy with a mocktail version of the famous Singapore Sling, then! It’s like a trip down memory lane, but with better drinks!
