My mother has made this brand of fried chicken for the longest time, as far as I can remember. And it tastes great every single time she makes it.
Marinate the chicken by combining all the ingredients. Set aside for at least 2 hours, or in the refrigerator overnight. Then, dunk the raw marinated chicken in hot oil (in 2 batches), fry till cooked and golden, about 15 to 20 mins. This will differ in accordance with the cut of meat you're using.
